PLANET collects personally-identifiable information when users apply for jobs through the respective area of the Site, http://planet-albania.com/careers/, or when users register for PLANET’s newsletter. The personally-identifiable information collected may consist of information that you provide, such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number, and background information required to apply for a job. For recruiting purposes, the information collected may include other personally-identifiable information that you include on your resume and information that you submit as part of your application. In addition, PLANET may collect certain information that you do not visibly enter, such as your IP address, browsing pattern on the Site, click stream data, HTTP protocol elements, and the status of cookies placed on your computer by the Site. By registering and/ or submitting personal information to PLANET, you are also agreeing to the use of this information in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
We generally collect only the personal information necessary to fulfil your request. Where additional, optional information is sought, you will be notified of this at the point of collection. PLANET only collects “sensitive” personal information when the relevant individuals voluntarily provide us with this information or where such information is required or permitted to be collected by law or professional standards. In some instances, PLANET and other third-party service providers use cookies to automatically collect certain types of information when you visit us online, as well as through emails that we may exchange. What are cookies?

Definitions
First and third-party cookies — whether a cookie is ‘first’ or ‘third’ party refers to the domain placing the cookie. First-party cookies are those set by a website that is being visited by the user at the time — the website displayed in the URL window. Third-party cookies are cookies that are set by a domain other than that of the website being visited by the user. If a user visits a website and another entity sets a cookie through that website, this would be a third-party cookie.
Persistent cookies — these cookies remain on a user’s device until you erase them or for the period of time specified in the cookie. In particular, regarding job applications, PLANET keeps applicant profiles for up to 6 months and may contact you about other openings in the future.
